Entertainment by Kuumba Dance Ensemble (Stanford University) and Sila and the Afrofunk Experience. The Kuumba African Dance and Drum Ensemble, created by students in the 1970s, is an exciting group that features music and dance from many cultures of Africa and the African Diaspora.
Sila and the Afrofunk Experience is led by Victor Sila. His dynamic band performs the Afrobeat sounds of his homeland, Kenya, and "dance concert" music from Nigeria, the Congo, South Africa, Senegal, Brazil and Jamaica.

In the little town of Kumba, Cameroon, there have been no convictions in spousal abuse cases for 17 years. But two women determined to change their community are making progress that could change the world. This fascinating, often hilarious documentary follows the work of State Prosecutor Vera Ngassa and Court President Beatrice Ntuba as they help women fight often-difficult cases of abuse, despite pressures from family and their community to remain silent.

In an increasingly global economy, where the profit margins of huge multinational coffee companies continue to rise, prices paid for coffee harvests have reached an all-time low, forcing farmers in some of the world's poorest countries to abandon their once bountiful fields. Among the hardest hit by the devastating effects of this crisis is Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee. Tadesse Meskela is one man on a mission to bring a fair-trade market to the more than 70,000 struggling farmers whom he represents.
