BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)
For those with little luggage. From San Francisco International Airport to the Powell Street BART stop (four blocks from the Westin St. Francis Hotel). In the airport, take the free Air Train to the BART station in the San Francisco Airport International Terminal. BART fare is One way $5.15; Round Trip $10.30

LUGGAGE on BART. "When bringing luggage on a BART train, please keep the aisles clear by storing your luggage under your seat or holding it on your lap. Some cars have space cleared by the doors to accommodate wheelchairs, bikes or strollers. If the space is not being used by a person with a disability, you may store your luggage there, but please keep it within your control at all times."

Shuttle Service - ** Starting October 1, 2005, the service on Geary Street will be scheduled for every half hour, and not every fifteen minutes. The schedule will rotate on the hour and the half hour for the current operation hours of 4am to 4pm. All other service to the hotel will be by reservation. Drivers will be asked to park the van and enter on the Geary Street side to announce the shuttle. Rate: $15.00 (to SFO)

From Oakland International Airport to the Powell Street BART station (four blocks from the Westin St. Francis Hotel). Just outside the airport, take the AirBART shuttle bus ($2.00 exact change) to the nearby BART station called Coliseum/Oakland Airport. From the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station, take either the train called SFO/Millbrae, or the one called SF/Daly City. Both go to the Powell Street station in San Francisco. $6.70 round trip. $3.35 one way.

Sunday Nov. 19 at 1:00 pm is a 49er football game. Football people will be traveling on the same freeway (101) as people going to the San Francisco Airport. A very large International Auto Show will be in San Francisco at Moscone Center, Saturday Nov. 18 through Sunday Nov. 26. People attending this will be coming into San Francisco.
