Nelson Mandela, humanitarian, dies at 95

Humanitarian, hero, revolutionary, Nelson Mandela (July 18, 1918-December 5, 2013) served 27 years in prison for anti-apartheid activities in South Africa. He later served as the first black president of the same country and in 1993 was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize jointly with Frederick Willem de Klerk.
