Concierge program celebrates another successful year

The Concierge Program has just wrapped up for the 2017-18 academic year.  Thanks to all of you who attended, asked questions, and gave us new ideas for programs.  The Concierge Program Advisory Group is already hard at work building out next year’s agenda, so don’t hesitate to reach out to any of us with ideas and recommendations for next year’s program.

The role of the concierge program is to improve understanding of the broad spectrum of library services, and empower all staff with the organizational understanding that they need to provide concierge-level support to library users.  We do this by asking library departments and programs to present on their operations, and through departmental tours.  We record the presentations, so you can refer to them later, and use them in orientation and training programs.

This year we offered a total of 8 classroom sessions and 3 facility tours.

The Concierge Program Advisory Group brings together staff from across the organization, so you should have someone close by if you have questions.  My thanks to this great group:
