Welcome, Kristen Domingo
I’m thrilled to announce a new addition to the finance team at Stanford Libraries - Kristen Domingo. Kristen started on June 18. Her office is located in the HR & Business Services suite on the 2nd Floor of Green East. If you haven’t met her already, please stop by to say hello or send her an introduction via firstname.lastname@example.org.
As a core member of the finance team, Kristen will be engaged in the day-to-day financial oversight for the organization. Her first major assignments include formulating the library material budget expenditure report and taking the lead in closing out the material endowments in June. She will act as a key contributor to annual budget allocation, bi-annual budget cycle, quarterly variance reporting processes, and year-end financial close. I look forward to building a stronger fiscal infrastructure that supports our operation and priorities with her, along with Claudette and Lori from Business Services. The recently merged finance and business services group also aims to raise the overall financial awareness and competency for the Libraries.
Prior to joining the Stanford Libraries, Kristen has worked as a Financial Analyst and Accountant for the Department of Athletics, IT Services, and the Office of the Vice Provost and Dean of Research. Kristen has a BA in Political Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where her love of data and statistical analysis began. Kristen is a bay area native who enjoys stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking at Princeton Harbor with her wife and three-legged dog, Rocket. She is a new mom to an eleven-month-old baby girl named Josie, who is a complete delight but has yet to sleep longer than four consecutive hours. Please join me in the warmest welcome to Kristen to the Libraries family!
