There are days when staying in bed and pulling the covers over one’s head seems like the best course of action in an increasingly tumultuous world. At Cubberley Education Library we have put together a display of children’s books that we hope will inspire not only you but the next generation. Some of the titles are about giants in the fight against injustice such as Martin Luther King. Others highlight that one person who stood up for change. Please come read about the youngest marcher, Audrey Faye Hicks, or Lakas who protested the sale of the home where he and many others lived. Remember the world can change one person at a time.

For more books check out our guide to Children's books about history.
