The Stanford Libraries have started a subscription to Met Opera on Demand, which streams more than 600 full-length Metropolitan Opera performances, including more than 100 high-definition videos known from their showings at movie theaters, classic telecasts originally broadcast live on tv from 1977-2003, radio broadcasts (audio only) of performances going back to 1935 from the Saturday matinee radio broadcasts, and more recent satellite radio broadcasts.

Stanford Libraries’ collection of South Asian materials increased dramatically in the last few years as the focus of the collection expanded to include materials in the regional languages of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka.
In conjunction with the ongoing exhibition at the East Asia Library, entitled Words in Characters: Books as Vehicles, the library will host a conference on Friday, October 13 featuring talks given by several of the artists whose works are included within the exhibit.
October is National Bullying Prevention Month, an idea started by PACER Center in 2006 but supported by organizations around the world, including the American Educational Research Association (AERA) which published Prevention of Bullying in Schools, Colleges, and Universities: Research Report and Recomm
Please note that parking bicycles inside any main campus building is strictly prohibited unless an area is designated for specifically for that purpose. Currently, buildings owned by Stanford University Libraries (SUL) do not have areas or rooms designated for indoor bike parking.

- Biologics Suite- All the tools that are important in modeling biologics, antibodies, and proteins.
- Small-Molecule Drug Discovery Suite- A comprehensive suite to accelerate lead discovery and lead optimization.
- Materials Science Suite - A diverse set of tools for computing the structure, reactivity, and properties of chemical systems.
