The Art Research Programme,
which publishes A-R-C, is a laboratory for the generation, development
and testing of new ideas in the broad area of visual culture.
It is a forum to showcase "art research-orientated projects
and artworks that examine and challenge artistic and ideological
paradigms." Extremely multidisciplinary—involving
the work of artists, curators, writers, architects, etc., this
online journal is international in scope, and attempts to publish
the work of lesser-known writers.

e-journal devoted to the study of nineteenth-century painting,
sculpture, graphic arts, photography, architecture, and decorative
arts across the globe." Good coverage of visual art developments
happening in places other than western Europe and the United
