Reference
Library staff are available for limited reference
assistance during most hours the library is open. The Head Librarian
or Assistant Librarian are available for reference assistance by
appointment. Instruction in the use of the Library, and assistance
in finding and accessing information not owned by the Library is
available at all times. Tours of the library, group instruction
and specialized training in art and architecture information sources
can also be arranged by calling the Head Librarian at (650) 725-1037.
A specialized three unit bibliography and library methods course
for graduate students and majors in the Art Department is taught
every fall quarter. Reference assistance is available by sending
email to artlibrary@stanford.edu
Reference hours
Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, for brief assistance. In-depth
help by appointment.
