Brno, 1927.
Acquired through the Irene Burnside Sheldon Fund.

This rare volume is the only issue published in what was intended to be an annual almanac. It is a multidisciplinary review (mostly in Czech, with some German and French) focusing on recent developments in art, architecture, film, poetry, philosophy, technology, and modern life, with particular attention to the avant-garde in the years following World War I. The list of contributors includes central figures in the avant-garde: Le Corbusier, Ernst, Hans Richter, Arp, Baumeister, Breton, Breuer, De Chirico, Eggeling, Exter, Gropius, Grosz, Herzfelde, Klee, Kiesler, Malevich, Man Ray, Mendelsohn, Moholy-Nagy, Nezval, Picabia, Puni, Rodchenko, Shterenberg, Schwitters, Teige, Tzara, and many others.
