Onophrio Panvinio.
Fasti et Triumphi Rom. a Romulo rege vsque ad Carolum V. Caes. Aug....
Venetiis: Impensis Iacobi Stradae..., 1557.
Acquired through the Robert L. Goldman Fund.

This is the first edition, first issue of these lists of Roman kings and consuls; it was dedicated by the publisher, Jacobus Strada, to Maximilian, King of Bohemia (later Maximilian II). The illustrations are by Bernard Salomon, taken for the most part from coins in the collection of Jean Grolier. This is the only illustrated edition of this book; it may well have been privately printed for Strada, in small numbers.
