A very scarce collection of images of old rural architecture, a topic which interested all of the artists who contributed; the fifty-four plates feature a wide variety of cottages and farm buildings, among other subjects. The images were issued serially over five months in 1815 and were evidently not immediately popular, as the entire set was still being o∂ered for sale as late as 1823.
