Data & Software (SSDS)
Social Science Data
and Software (SSDS) is a group within the Social Sciences Resource Center that provides
services and support to Stanford faculty, staff
and students in finding and getting social science
data and in selecting and using quantitative (statistical)
software (SPSS, SAS, Stata), and qualitative software
(NVivo, ATLAS.ti, SPSS Text Analysis for Surveys). Specialized
resources and services include consulting, workshops and help
documentation. In-person consultations
take place in The Velma
Denning Room, located in Center. Users
