The Collection

Location: Green Library, Media-Microtexts

Call Number: MFILM N.S. 967

Content: Microfilm collection of the full runs of 341 titles published in Great Britain during the seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Although predominantly literary in nature, the collection encompasses a wide variety of subject matter and is a resource for a wealth of cultural information. Almost all the important writers of the period are listed as contributors, including Defoe, Addison, Steele, Swift, Fielding, Johnson, Burke, Smollett, Coleridge, George Eliot, Dickens, Thackeray, and Rossetti.
