Course Reserves
Materials for music courses are placed on reserve each quarter
by faculty and their teaching assistants. Most reserve items are
from the library’s collection, although a small number of
personal copies provided by faculty may also be placed on reserve.
Reserve materials circulate for 4 hours unless otherwise indicated.
Personal items (not owned by the library) are to be used in-house
only (they are labeled as such).
All reserve materials are listed in the Course
Reserves Catalog on the SULAIR website, and in the Reserve Binder
on the Circulation Desk. The binder is organized by course number.
Individual items should be requested by call number.
Faculty wishing to place materials on reserve are encouraged to
do so as soon as possible, to allow for processing time. For further
details, contact Rich Powers,
Operations Manager.
Options for audio reserves include creating playlists
in Naxos and Classical.com and/or linking individual tracks from
these
services to a Coursework page.
