Full color facsimile reproduction of 12th-century liturgical ms., presumably the book of the Magister scholarum at the cathedral of Piacenza. Includes the entire repertory of chants for the celebration of the Mass as well as the Hours of the Divine Office. Contains miniatures and illuminated initials. Includes accompanying commentary. Bound in full brown calf over wooden boards, blind-stamped, with bronze corner pieces and a central boss.
