Celebrate the Centennial of Green Library!
Join us as we celebrate the Centennial of Green Library! Food, festivities and more! 2019 marks the centennial of Green Library. Jane Stanford’s grand and visionary plan in the early 1900s to expand the footprint of the university’s library was based on her determination that the university bearing her son’s name not only serve the intellectual pursuits of its current faculty and students but also that it prepare itself to attract and serve a larger future community with more diverse academic interests. Anticipating the needs of tomorrow’s scholars is at the core of how Stanford Libraries collects and develops digital research tools and services.
