Funder and government public access policies have jump-started a conversation around research data management and research data dissemination among research institutions and academic publishers alike. In recent years, we've seen data policies pop up everywhere from Stanford (https://doresearch.stanford.edu/research-scholarship/manage-your-research-data) to Yale (http://research.yale.edu/research-data) to PLoS (http://journals.plos.org/plosone/s/data-availability). In this session, we'll go through journal and institutional OA policies and how at Figshare, we've seen both communities working towards a similar goal of making research data accessible.  (A list of publishers already working with figshare is available at https://figshare.com/services/publishers
Speaker: Dan Valen, figshare.
