One of the best ways to advance your career is through scholarly publishing - yet it may also be one of the hardest, especially if you don't have a lot of time to write. This presentation provides an inside look at the publishing process. Attendees of this presentation will learn tips and tricks from a journal publisher on manuscript preparation, selecting a journal, the peer review and publishing process, publication ethics, open access publishing, and getting your paper noticed post publication. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.
Speaker: Jason Winkler, Elsevier, Senior Publisher, Health & Medical Sciences, STM Journals
