Tour Schedule Green Library |Meyer Library |Subject Specific Libraries
Green Library is the largest library on campus, and is home to the main humanities and social sciences collection, the Information Center, the Media Microtext Center, Special Collections and University Archives, and many other central library services and resources.
New Students: The Information Center invites new students (and their parents) to tour Green Library, explore world class library collections, and find out how the library can support your research needs.
When: Tuesday September 16 at 2:00p.m.
Friday, September 19 at 1:00p.m. & 2:00p.m.
Where: Meet at the Green Library East Entrance (across from Meyer Library)
Graduate Students: Graduate students are invited to meet at the Bing Wing entrance to Green Library for "Books and Bevs," a general introduction to Stanford Libraries and then a tour of 1 of the nearly 20 libraries across campus. A great chance to learn about library resources outside your primary discipline. Meet at the CoHo (in Tresidder Memorial Union) after the tour for drinks.

Tours that cover Meyer Library's services, including the Multimedia Studio, Meyer Tech Desk consulting, the main computer clusters, and the Digital Language Lab are available by request only. Please contact consulting-manager@stanford.edu to request one of these 30 minute tours.
Subject-Specific Tours
Art & Architecture Library
Orientation tours are required for all declared undergraduate majors and minors in art history, studio art, and film and media studies. Undergraduate majors and minors, please call or email Katie Keller (kkeller@stanford.edu; 724-6700). Orientations for all incoming graduate students in the Department of Art & Art History are scheduled as part of the Department's incoming graduate student orientation. All other students and faculty, please contact Peter Blank (ppb@stanford.edu; 725-1038) to schedule tours or orientations.
Branner Earth Science Library and Map Collections
Orientation sessions for all incoming School of Earth Sciences students are arranged at the beginning of the quarter. Orientations for all other students and researchers are available for the Branner Earth Sciences Library, the Map Collections, and the GIS Services.
