About
The Hoover Institution Library is housed in Hoover Tower. Visitors should register at the loan desk on the tower's main floor by filling out a registration form, presenting photo identification, and agreeing to the rules for use of materials. Non-Stanford visitors may use materials on site. Borrowing privileges are available to Stanford affiliates, as well as to cooperative card holders from participating California universities.
