On Friday, April 1, 2016, the Stanford Libraries Acquisitions and Preservation departments, along with Kathleen Smith, the curator for the Germanic Collections, held a mini Edible Book Festival in Lathrop Library.

The Stanford Historical Society, which maintains an office in Green Library and works closely with University Archivist Daniel Hartwig and the collections in the Archives, has launched a newly redesigned website which includes event announcements, volunteer activities, and “Discover History” resources and materials.
