AD students curate architectural model show in the Art & Architecture Library - on display now!
Now on view at the Art & Architecture Library: Architecture Exhibit
May 20 - June 1, 2013
On May 20, an exhibition of architectural models created by Stanford students goes on display in the Art & Architecture Library. Curated by Jacob Schaffert, a senior majoring in Architectural Design, and Julia Schubach, a junior majoring in Architectural Design, this Art & Architecture Library exhibition features study and final models for seven projects produced by students from a number of different AD studio courses. Each work includes the following information: student creator/s, course number, date and a statement about the project. Models range from the design for a Stanford Arts Quad to experiments in acrylic and cardboard. This exhibition marks the first time that student models have been shown outside of the Engineering Department.
The exhibition will be on display until June 1.
