The 2016 winter closure begins Wednesday, December 21, 2016 and ends on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. Regular operations will resume on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. During this time, the following dates have been designated as University holidays:
- Friday, December 23, 2016
- Monday, December 26, 2016
- Monday, January 2, 2017
The University will provide three (3) additional days off with pay that are not designated as paid holidays to be used between the periods of Wednesday, December 21, 2016 through Tuesday, January 3, 2017. Employees who work in units which must continue operations during this period may take the additional paid days off after Winter Close on or before January 31, 2017.
The non-holiday dates require the use of four (4) days entry of PTO, Vacation or Floating Holiday in the Axess time card.
