Falconer, Swain, and the Mathematics and Statistics Libraries are moving

Sapp Center for Science Teaching and Learning, formerly known as the Old Chemistry Building, new home of the Robin Li and Melissa Ma Science Library.

Falconer Biology Library, the Mathematics & Statistics Library, and Swain Library of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering will merge to form the Robin Li and Melissa Ma Science Library. The new library will be located in the Sapp Center for Science Teaching and Learning, formerly known as the Old Chemistry Building.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Falconer Biology Library, the Mathematics and Statistics Library, and Swain Library of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering will close at 5:00 pm on Friday, December 16, 2016.
  • The collections of all three libraries will be inaccessible from December 17, 2016 through January 8, 2017. If you will need any items from the collections during that period, please check them out before 5:00 pm on December 16.
  • After-hours access will be unavailable from Friday, December 16 through Sunday, January 8.
  • The Robin Li and Melissa Ma Science Library will open at 8:30 am on January 9, 2017.

Note: In order to ensure that the move can be completed before opening day, some parts of the collection will be merged prior to December 16. Staff can help locating items that have been relocated.
