SUL's Preservation Department is co-sponsoring an art conservation lecture on Saturday, April 27th, titled "Gamblin Conservation Colors, Artist's Pigments, and Contemporary Painting."
The speaker is Robert Gamblin who founded Gamblin Conservation Colors in 2000, and whose colors have been used across the world for restoration and conservation purposes to repair damaged works of art. Please come and enjoy this fascinating talk at the Cantor Arts Center, with a reception to follow. See flyer for more information.

I am both pleased and saddened to announce that after almost 15 years of service to The Stanford Libraries, Andrew Herkovic is retiring. He’ll be with us for just a few more weeks, before moving back to the East Coast. Andrew’s efforts on behalf of the libraries have been many and varied across the years, involving work with donors, grants, reporters, and emergency responders. In those regards he has worked with many of you. Please join me in wishing him well as he begins this new chapter in his life.
