Yoga in Green Library continues on Monday (noon, code: glym-01), Wednesday (5:15 pm, code: glyw-01) and Friday (noon: glyf-01). (Note: The Wednesday 5:15pm class will begin one week later on April 10 and finish one week later on June 19.) Hattie Bluestone returns after her quarter off as the Monday instructor and Dina continues as the Wednesday and Friday instructor.
Technology has transformed the way teachers teach and engage students. The days of the teacher sitting behind the desk or standing at the blackboard are numbered because of technological advances that have detached the instructor from the desk. One device that is leading the charge in untethering teachers is the Apple TV.
Stanford’s collaboration with Italian archive is basis for civic and scholarly celebration in Bologna. “Laura Bassi e le carte di famiglia” recognizes the pioneer female scientist.
In the eighteenth century, Laura Bassi was a scientist, professor at the University of Bologna, and member of the Bologna Academy of Sciences.
