SUL Events and exhibits web page image

Have you visited the SUL Events and Exhibits web page lately? The Libraries have many events scheduled for October, beginning with four items scheduled for today, a Mendeley for Researchers workshop, the East Asia Library Grand Opening, an xSearch workshop offered by Swain Library, and Movements for Change exibit in Green Library.

In Emerging Collaborations for Accessing and Preserving Email, written by Chris Prom, Assistant University Archivist and Professor, University of Illinois for the Library of Congress website, a Stanford Libraries technology was one of several featured: "One of the most exciting presentations was provided by Peter Chan and Glynn Edwards from Stanford University."

In Vintage Yosemite: Rare Black-and-White Photos of Pristine Landscapes on the Weather Channel website, author, Michele Berger embedded a slideshow and interview about the recent exhibition of the Stanford Libraries' Carleton Watkins photographs at the Cantor Arts Center: "They’re quite stunning," Roberto Trujillo, head of special collections for the Stanford University Libraries, told weather.com.
