Concierge keys, canceled

The March Library Concierge Program presentation on Preservation is canceled!

Not to worry - the content will be presented at later Concierge sessions so stay tuned.

With mixed feelings I announce that Maria Grandinette will retire from Stanford Libraries as of March 22 after nearly 20 years on campus. I am sad to say farewell, but I am happy for her as she starts a new chapter of her life. She will be heading east to be closer to her parents, and in a few months she will begin her new position as Head of the Preservation Department at Princeton University Libraries.

Ubisoft, The Chessmaster 3000, published for DOS, Windows 3.x., 1991

Two-year project will image one of the largest pristine historical collections of microcomputing software in the world for historical and cultural research.

Stanford University Libraries has partnered with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to preserve one of the world’s largest collections of software.
