SUL Rosette

The Stanford community is invited to attend Public Safety Day on Wednesday, October 19th, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at White Plaza. There will be plenty of activities and treats for all ages, including:

  • Explosive detecting K-9 demo
  • Bicycle safety and registration
  • Community outreach and crime prevention
  • Simulations (drunk goggles, distracted walking)
  • Palo Alto Mobile Emergency Opereations Center
  • Face painting
  • Recruitment
  • Stanford EMS

Barbara Krupa Poland presentation photo

Barbara Krupa, SUL's former Interim Selector for Slavic and East European Collections traveled to Gorlice (Poland) in September to present at the Zygmunt Haupt Festival. Haupt was a Polish émigré writer. Barbara's presentation was based on Haupt’s papers, which are available in SUL's Special Collections.
