On Monday, March 7th, there will be a Fine Facsimile Open House with Giovanni Scorcioni, facsimile edition expert and founder of Facsimile Finder. The Open House will take place from 9:30 am-11:45 am in the Barchas Room of Special Collections in Green Library. From 9:40 am-10:00 am, Giovanni will present a new software he is developing with Western Michigan University to help libraries make their facsimile collections easily discoverable.

WASHINGTON — Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell has appointed a new Chair and Vice Chair and 14 new and continuing members to the National Geospatial Advisory Committee (NGAC), which provides recommendations to the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC), the interagency executive group responsible for providing leadership and direction in federal geospatial programs.
