Wojciech's role in the library

I am serving the Department of Religious Studies and other departments for related to religion needs. I am responsible for collection development6 in religion in general and realted issues, Buddhism and other Far Eastern religious traditions as needed, Christianity, biblical studies, and religion in America. I am not responsible for Islam and Judaism.

Selected publications

My book, Crucible of Religion: Culture, Civilization and Affirmation of Life. Eugene, Or, WIPF&Stock, 2012 discusses the essence of religion as one and universal in light of culture and civilization.

My other books, articles and reviews dealt with Polish and Russian book studies.

I am associated with Stanford since 1971. I am Slavic Curator Emeritus and since 1999 Bibliographer for Religious Studies. My native language is Polish and I have working knowledge of most of the Western and Slavic languages.
