Requesting certified copies
For attorneys or anyone requesting certification of documents found in our collections, please submit your request in writing to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include the following information:
The name of the collection the collection call number the series, box, and folder number in which the selected materials are housed (if applicable) complete description of the documents(s) required
Failure to provide such information can slow down order fulfillment. Please allow 4 weeks to complete your order.
The fees associated with certification are as follows:
black and white copies: .35 per page
department service Fee: $15 per hour
seal embossing $2.50 per seal
record certification (certifications will be charged per 150 pages certified): $15.00 per certification
If a notary is needed, the requesting party will pay for and provide an authorized notary to come to the Department of Special Collections at a time convenient for the Department Head.
