Tours

Tours of the Stanford University Libraries are offered year-round, with special orientation tours for incoming students at the beginning of each academic year. Other special tours include Family Weekend, which usually happen in February, and Admit Weekend, which happen in April.

Family weekend

Green Library tour

Green Library is the largest library on campus, and is home to the main humanities and social science collections.

Located in the Bing Wing of Green Library, the David Rumsey Map Center, which opened in April 2016, combines world-class collections of antiquarian maps and atlases with modern digital cartographic technologies.  Tour the Center with a curator and view the historic architecture of the Bing Wing of Green Library, including its current exhibition Terraforming: Art & Engineering in Waterways of the West.
