Universities' Mission to Central Africa (UMCA)
See the United Society for the Propagation of the Gospel. The UMCA was founded in 1858 "as a result of David Livingstone's sermon to Cambridge University, 'I beg to direct your attention to Africa.'" In 1965 the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel and the UMCA merged into the United Society for the Propagation of the Gospel (USPG).
