  1. Fairchild Semiconductor Corporation: files of Steve Allen, photographer, circa 1960-1985

    The collection documents executive employees, sales force, fabrication facilities, and products of Fairchild Semiconductor. The vast majority of the collection is comprised of photographs, negatives, and slides dating from 1962-1987. There is a small amount of textual material.

  2. Fairchild Camera and Instrument 35 mm slides, 1960-1970

    Includes early pictures of researchers and projects, including a progression of chips from the early transistor to the latest 4500. These were used in Rob Walker's SILICON DESTINY, 1992.

  3. Photographs of integrated circuits, etc., ca. 1964-1995

    Primarily manufacturing images relating to the work of Robert C. Hall at Fairchild Semiconductor; also some failure analysis photos. There are also some historical reports from the 1960s relating to the work of G. Tripp and J.H. Friedrich.
