Williams, a current PhD student. Williams talks about arriving at Stanford, where her older brother was already a student, the communities she was a part of, and the demands of being a member of the crew team soon after Title IX. She also describes being a minority woman in STEM and overcoming academic challenges as she pursued coursework in product design. She concludes by offering advice to current Stanford students.
