Construction adjudication [electronic resource]
Riches, John L.2nd ed. - Oxford ; Malden, MA : Blackwell Pub., c2004.Adjudication has been the main means of settling construction disputes since it was first introduced by the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, and a substantial body of case law has now built up. This book established itself as the key authority on adjudication when it was first published. It has now been revised to reflect the authors' experience of adjudication in practice and to cover the large number of court decisions. It features useful appendices on adjudication materials.

If You're So Smart, How Come You're Not Rich?
Hennessy, John L.Stanford (Calif.), April 21, 2004Hennessy answers the question: How do you get people to stay at Stanford when there is so much opportunity in the business sphere? He remarks that companies are great things, but they are missing most of what makes a university so appealing to its employees: the freshness and excitement of the students and the freedom to conduct one's own research.
