Each survivor describes life before the war; the swift and barbarous execution of Hitler's policies from March 1944 : their experiences in Auschwitz, Buchenwald and Dachau; and follows them on their return to the camps 50 years later to discoover the fates of their immediate families. The Hungarian Holocaust was 1 of the Greatest tragedies of World War II : The murder of 435,000 Hungarian Jews in the final monthsof the war, when German power was on the wane. The last days highlights some of the fortunate survivors, in a memorial to those who did not survive.
