Bozhnev was a Russian emigre poet, who lived in Paris.
Ramunas Katilius, Elmira Katiliene and their son, Ramunas Jr., were Brodsky's good friends beginning in 1966.
Brown was a pioneer in the academic study of Russian literature in the United States. He taught at Brown University, Indiana University, and Stanford.
Constantinoff was a book collector. The collection contains records, primarily concerning his Russian book collection. Also in the collection are dealer and auction catalogs, including material concerning the sale of the Imperial Library.
Derieva was a Russian literary author with over thirty published works of poetry, prose, and fiction. From 1999 until her death in 2013 she lived in Sweden.
80 linear feet. Dillon was a professor of philology at University of Kharkov, an authority on oriental languages, ancient Armenian and Sanskrit. He was best known as a foreign correspondent for London's Daily Telegraph from 1886 until well after the 1914-1918 war.

Sergiei Gornyi is the pseudonym of the literary critic and writer Aleksandr Avdeevich Otsup. He was a frequent contributer to Russian emigre periodicals.
Grabbe was secretary of the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad from 1931 until 1986.

29 linear feet. Voznesenskii was one of the foremost poets of post-Stalinist Russia. The collection contains a large number and proportion of manuscripts, as well as correspondence, photograph, personal files, media materials, writings about him, and ephemera.
88 linear feet. Yevtushenko is one of the foremost Soviet and Russian poets, as well as a novelist, essayist, dramatist, screenwriter, publisher, actor, editor and director of several films.

Polish literature and related

Latin manuscript, 10 pages. Dialogue between Paris and a Polishman concerning Johann II Kasimir, King of Poland, who abdicated in September 1668.

Coleman was an American Slavist, Polonist, linguist, professor and popularizer of knowledge related to Poland. The material here (1 folder) was collected by him: correspondence and printed matter relating to Polish history and literature.
Kultura was a Polish émigré literary journal, published in Paris. This issue, for November 1980, was printed in a miniature edition for clandestine circulation in Poland.
Tyrmand (1920-1985) was a Polish-American novelist and author. The collection (25 ms. boxes, 4 envelopes) contains writings, diaries, correspondence, notes, and printed matter, relating to social conditions in Poland, cultural conditions in communist countries, etc.

The papers of Latvian-American pastor, author, bibliophile and collector Richards Zari?š (1913-2006) contain his personal papers and the records of the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church of New York. The collection consists of 44 linear feet (96 manuscript boxes, 7 flat boxes).
