University Archives films added to the Internet Archive

Continuing Stanford University Library's collaboration with the California Audiovisual Preservation Project (CAVPP), four items from University Archives have recently been added to the Internet Archive:

A Soviet Ant Takes a Walk (1975)

Display Terminals at Stanford (1975)

Hoover at Stanford University on his 75th birthday (August 10, 1949)

Conversations with Mr. Hoover (1960)

These new submissions join our other items from Special Collections digitized under the aegis of the CAVPP, which we previously blogged about here. We remain excited about this project, not only because it provides a new access point for select library holdings pertaining to the state's audiovisual heritage, but it effectively offers digitization services for types of materials that the Stanford Media Preservation Lab cannot handle in house (i.e. film).
