BAT training is a critical component of the university's post-earthquake assessment process.  The more volunteers we have available, the faster Stanford will be able to assess the status of the building supply and the faster units will be able to reoccupy buildings. No specific knowledge is necessary to join, but all potential participants should check with their supervisor prior to registering to take BAT training. The only criteria is that an individual be a Stanford staff or faculty member and be willing to respond to the University to assist with post-earthquake assessment. The training will provide all of the information necessary to perform an inspection.
