Sunday April 22nd is Earth Day. Cubberley Library staff have pulled some of our books imbued with the spirit of Earth Day. We have biographies of individuals dedicated to saving the flora and fauna of this planet as well as individuals who have made a difference in their communities by recycling trash or replanting. Come learn who Anna Comstock, Wangari Maathai, and Isatou Ceesay are and why they might be considered earth champions.  Other books which might interest budding earth warriors are on endangered species, community gardening, how the water cycle affects the environment, etc. The list goes on so come see our Earth Day display and check out our Children's books about the environment.
