Conservation Services welcomes Ryan Lieu

July 10, 2018
Kristen St.John
Ryan Lieu, Conservation Operations Coordinator

Conservation Services in Redwood City welcomes new staff member, Ryan Lieu, this week. Ryan will be our Conservation Operations Coordinator (a new position). He'll be managing our logistics, workflow, and tracking as well as helping with documentation, exhibits, and a wide range of other projects including assisting with our move to our new lab across the street next summer.

Ryan comes to us from the Getty Research Institute where he worked as a Senior Coordinator for Collection Management. There he worked on projects such as organizing collection moves, planning long-term cold storage, and developing conservation and digitization workflow efficiencies. He has a BA from UCLA and an MFA (sculpture) from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Next time you're in Redwood City, stop by Conservation to say hello!
