The Lighting the Way project has elected to postpone its forthcoming working meeting indefinitely as Stanford Libraries and Stanford University continues to monitor the local and global developments of COVID-19. At this point, no further arrangements have been made, and no specific dates have been set to reschedule the working meeting, although we are looking potentially rescheduling the meeting for later this summer or early this fall.

The project is planning to hold a supplemental virtual meeting on June 8-10, 2020 to address the impact of this change in plans. This virtual meeting, hosted on Zoom, will focus on exploring themes that arose during the Lighting the Way Forum, and will allow project Forum participants and interested others guidance about how to produce written contributions for the project. More information will be made available over the coming weeks.

For more information on COVID-19 responses, see updates on service impacts to Stanford Libraries and Stanford University’s response to COVID-19.

This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, through grant LG-35-19-0012-19. The IMLS is the primary source of federal support for the nation’s libraries and museums. To learn more, visit www.imls.gov.
