Preservation welcomes Emilye Lewin

This month the Preservation department welcomes our new staff member, Emilye Lewin, to the position of Collection Care Lead. In her new position, Emilye will supervise the bindery, housing, and repair workflows for circulating library collections, manage supplies ordering, and contribute to other department projects. She will be a primary point of contact for bindery and collection preservation issues.

Emilye brings a strong background in library preservation, most recently working in Preservation Services and Digitization Services at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has BAs in English Literature and Art Theory and Practice from the University of Oklahoma and a MSLIS from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
