Cardinal Printing is coming to your library soon!
This Fall, Stanford Libraries will be using Cardinal Print for its public printing service; Cardinal Print is the new campus-wide, modern solution for printing, scanning, and copying. Cardinal Print devices for public printing are being installed in Green Library, the East Asia Library, and the Terman Engineering Library from September 8 - 10.
With Cardinal Print, students will enjoy the convenience of modern technology, enhanced security, flexibility to print in color or black and white, and greater cost savings (only $.05 for color and $.008 for black and white). Students will be charged directly to their student account, eliminating the need for print cards. For more details about student benefits, catch up on UIT’s latest article.
In addition to benefits for students, Cardinal Print will alleviate administrative duties for library staff. The Cardinal Print program provides onsite maintenance and support including management of toner, paper, and staples. For help with Cardinal Print, contact the UIT Service Desk at 5-HELP or (650) 725-4357, or submit a Help request.
Cardinal Print devices for public printing in Art, Branner, Li and Ma, and Music Libraries will be installed in the coming weeks. Until then, students can pick up their print jobs from any working printer on campus: https://uit.stanford.edu/service-cardinal-print-student-printer-locations.
