Portrait of Hannah Moshier

The Preservation department is delighted to welcome Hannah Moshier to her new position as Preservation Librarian. Hannah will manage the daily operations of the Collection Care unit, including end processing, commercial bindery, and circulating collection repair and housing. Hannah will also coordinate preventive preservation tasks, including environmental monitoring and the Integrated Pest Management program. She is excited to get to know her new colleagues and explore Stanford’s beautiful campus.

Hannah comes to Stanford with a strong foundation in library preservation. Her previous positions in the UCLA Library Preservation and Conservation department gave her experience in circulating collection repair, assessing collections for digitization and exhibition loan, and training staff in collection handling and collection emergency response.

She has a BA from Wellesley and a MLIS from UCLA where she specialized in Archival Studies.

Please give her a warm welcome to Stanford Libraries! You can find her in Collection Care, 4th floor, Lathrop.
