Earth Day 2022 is Friday, April 22nd!

The Branner Earth Sciences Library has partnered with Stanford Earth, Stanford Earth Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and the Stanford Environmental Justice Group to celebrate Earth Day!

Stop by the circulation and reference desks in Green Library’s Hohbach Hall to view photographs capturing a year of exploration by Stanford Earth students and postdocs. From landscapes to time in the lab, the winning photos of the 2021 contest reflect the resilience and advancement that students and postdocs throughout Stanford have demonstrated in yet another year of uncertainty.

  • The winning photographs of the Stanford Earth 2021 Photo Contest will be displayed on the Hohbach Hall photography wall beginning April 18th in Green Library.

Join us in-person at Green Library on April 19th at 3:30pm in Hohbach Hall, room 122, for a panel discussion exploring how environmental justice frameworks can impact scientific research to promote social justice and environmental sustainability. RSVP

  • The discussion will be followed by a social gathering at 4:30pm in Koret Park (outside Green Library’s east entrance, next to the red fountain).
