Temporary closure of Green Library's east wing entrance to Hohbach Hall

Beginning Monday, July 11, Green Library’s east entrance (Hohbach Hall) doors will be temporarily closed for scheduled summer construction projects. Patrons entering Green will need to use the Bing Wing, Centennial Fountain, entrance.
The Hohbach Hall area, including the Silicon Valley Archives exhibits, and study spaces, will remain open during this construction period and will be accessible from the Bing Wing. Please note, at times there will be an increase in noise level since construction will be happening during the library's open hours.
During this time, the Circulation and Privileges desk, as well as the Reference desk, will temporarily relocate to the first-floor area between the Jonsson Reading Room and the West Stacks. The indoor book drop will also relocate near the Circulation and Privileges desk. Group study rooms 105A and 105B will be closed, however, all other study rooms will be open and usable. Checkout and paging services will continue during construction.
As construction comes to a close by mid-August, look for an updated ADA and ergonomically compliant services desk, new ADA PC stations, and new glass entry doors, just to mention a few of the planned improvements.
